Field Service & Calibration Engineer

About The Role

Your Location: Swindon or surrounding area
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday only (No Weekends)

This is a field based position that involves travelling to customer sites to perform our range of calibration services. A company vehicle is included, which is also available for personal use.

Our range of calibration services currently include:

  • Weighing equipment
  • Pipettes
  • Temperature

Calibration of the above equipment must be carried out in accordance with our documented quality system and procedures. Full training is given to enable you to complete all aspects of this position and on the job support is provided by our in-house technical team.

Most of our business is with repeat customers, therefore you will visiting the same sites year after year. Once trained and experienced work jobs are issued in advance leaving you to arrange your own work schedule for the coming month(s).

About You

  • Can demonstrate a technical aptitude in past roles and a willingness to learn new technical skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Driving license and preferably experience of a field based technical role
  • Experience of scientific / laboratory markets is ideal but not essential

Renumeration

  • Gross Salary Range (including pension): £32,000 to £35,000
  • Private healthcare (after 12 months service)
